The World Family Tree Vol. 5, Ed. 1, Family Archive CD, Tree #0327 lists Barbara "Hanks" Reager as m to Johannes Caplinger. The quote marks are theirs. Your guess is as good as mine as to the derivation of "Hanks". Could be a name by a previous marriage, or a nickname. I'd love to know, too, where this Hanks business comes from.
