Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
I will give you an "I think" and you can ponder that. In the 1850 Lauderdale Co. census there is an Andrew Caplinger married to a Martha A. Their children were Sarah, Mariah H., and Thomas. Andrew is shown as having been born in Pennsylvania but his death records say he was born in Ohio. He died in Jan or Jun 1860. In the 1860 census I find children spread all over Lauderdale Co. Those children - William 10, Arabelle 22, Mary 16, Susan 4, Munro 7, and John 13. Arabelle may be Sarah A. (and I misread her age in 1860), Mary would be Mariah H., and John could be Thomas. Maybe Arabelle was Annabelle and she was the one married to Rickman in 1866. Sarah, the oldest daughter may be the one that married a Johnson and she died in 1939. I would be interested in how valid some of my "I think" might be if you find or know its validity.
