My grandfather's grandmother was a Caplinger. Her name was Catherine and she was born in Virginia in 1840.She was married to Frank Congrove between the years of 1860-1862. Frank was born in 1824 in Ohio.I wonder if this is the Catherine spoken of in your post? Frank and Catherine had 8 children,their names are: Emma L.,Melissa A.,Albert S.,Martha R., Rosetta,Pearl a., Sydney F., and Dairy A.
