Hello everyone,
Yes I too am researching my Cappleman family history,my direct line is from the Filey,East Yorkshire Cappleman's.Having said that I am researching all Cappleman families in England and believe that all the branches throughout the country may lead back to Filey,however I have yet to prove this theory.Having checked the 1881 census it can be seen that the Cappleman name only appears in the Yorkshire area but then spread out to numerous places later.I would be happy to correspond with any like minded Cappleman researcher and can be contacted on my email address which can be found by clicking over my name next to posted by at the start of this message.
