Hello Peter, just wanted to ask a question & share a little information with you. Thomas Cappleman was my grandfather & he had a brother called Sam. However this particular Thomas Cappleman was married to Mary. I believe Mary's maiden name was Dunwell & that she originated from Castleford in West Yorkshire. They had a son Francis Ronald, my father born in 1928. I think the family lived in the St. Mary's Walk/Garibaldi Street area of Scarborough just below St. Mary's church, before moving to London at the start of WW2. I just find it strange that 2 separate families, both living in Scarborough at the same time, have 2 brothers with the same christian names. Do you have any information about my family?
