From what my father Purvis Elton Cappleman could find out there were two brothers George and Jacob Cappleman. Everyone that Dad talked to thinks that the brother father's name was probably George but not sure.
George? Cappleman was born around WFT Est. 1708 he married Lovey Tarr daughter of William Farr.Children of George? Cappleman and Lovey Tarr are: Jacob Cappleman died 3/1/1792 Newberry, SC - George Cappleman died 11/7/1803 Newberry, SC.
Jacob Cappleman around 1730 is married to Elizabeth Farr. Children of Jacob Cappleman and Elizabeth Farr are:
Magrid Cappleman - Marra Elisabeth Cappleman - Margaret Cappleman - Eva Cappleman - Catherine Cappleman born 7/29/1759 died WFT Est. 1799-1854 - Lucy Elizabeth Cappleman born 1769 died after 1850 - Jacob Cappleman, Jr. born 1771 died 12/29/1791 - John Cappleman born 12/3/1773 died 4/29/1830. All in Newberry, South Carolina.
