RE:Etta Ogburn Tiller, Washington County Fl early 1900s.My name is John Alcorn.I currently live in Tallahassee and have recently being doing research regarding the Tiller family. My mother was a Tiller. Her mother was Etta Ogburn Tiller; however, my brother and I have been unable to find out much about her.My mother was separated from her family when she was a child and lived with her Uncle John Tiller in Panama City, Florida. We know that she had siblings named James, Dewitt, Obie, Buddy (given name Bula sp?)and believe her father was George Alexander Tiller. From your posted comments re:Lucinda Caraway, it appears that the Etta Ogburn you mentioned was her daughter and my grandmother. We were told by anther person from the Washington Co. area that they thought Etta got sick with TB and was taken to New Orleans for medical care, but she died in New Orleans and wasn't brought back to Florida. I believe your comments indicate that it was Etta's mother who went to New Orleans. I would like to know anything else you can share regarding the Etta Ogburn family and would be gald to share anything I know about the Tiller/Ogburn family relationships.Thanks.
