Thanks for the quick reply. I talked to my mom (daughter of Fred Carignan and granddaughter of Gedeon Carignan) and she did not know. There is one of my grandfather's sisters still living however - so maybe...I do know that Esdras was natualized in ND in January 1897 so the chance is good that it was Leroy. I think the church still operates but I won't get a chance to go back there until spring. I have recently started all this - but have quite abit of information on "parents" - less on brothers and sisters. Take care!
