Your John Farrell/Carley connection is interesting to me.
When my gm Mary Carley McCormick was buried in Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City, NJ they couldn't follow through. It seems a Farrell had picked up the Carley deed sometime in the 1930.
My uncle Earl Francis McCormick was buried in this plot 1932 as was her brother John Carley in 1928. This deed was probably picked up after 1932 for they had no problems with burial up to this point. I have a copy of deed which states it was duplicated by Hugh Duner who paid 20.00 to open grave Nov. 7, 1928. Note same yr. as John J. Carley's death.
On back of deed it states Thomas, Mary and Jim.
Other in plot are:Burial date below
Mary Duner1874at age60
Thomas Carley187417mths, parents John/Margaret
John Carley187540
Catherine Duner187519parents-Bernard/Mary
Katie Carroll18756mths/19days"-John/Margaret
Mary Downs187732
Margaret Carley188745
Hugh Dooner190950Duner??
John J. Carley 192857
Earl F.McCormick 193229
I think JOhn and Margaret are parents of my Mary Carley McCormick who married Samuel Smith McCormick.
I have a copy of census 1880
Margaret 38 Widow, James 12, John 11, Mary 9 all in Jersey City (Hudson Co.)on Morgan St.
