Joseph J. CARMINE, 1842 to 1917

Joseph J. CARMINE was born Feb. 1842 in Maryland, died 1917, buried in VA. He was the son of John CARMINE born Maryland. Joseph J. CARMINE was married twice:
First, Clara Pritchard, daughter of Miles Rufus Pritchard.
Second, Elizabeth Sibbram, daughter of Timothy Sibbram.

Joseph and Clara had six children:
Ann Rebecca or Rebecca Ann
John
Miles Edward
William
Tenie Vaughn
Charles R.

Joseph served in the CSA, first as soldier, enlisting in Chowan Co., NC and second on the Iron Clad in CSA navy. Last name listed as Carmines.

1880 census has Joseph & Clara living in Providence Twp., Pasq. Co., NC.
1900 census he lived in Poplar Branch, Currituck Co., NC., with Elizabeth.
1910 census shows him in Elizabeth City, NC.

1900 census states Joseph J. Carmine's DOB Feb. 1842
Place of BIRTH: Baltimore, Maryland
Father POB: Baltimore
Mother POB: Baltimore
Occupation: Farmer

We are searching for further information on Joseph CARMINE's family, siblings, mother. We have not yet found any information on him in Baltimore.

Any leads would be greatly appreciated.
