Carnes/Karnes family in Arkansas

I am searching for a Carnes, Karnes family who lived in Arkansas @1880 - early 1900's. This family adopted a child born in Oklahoma by the name of Callie Gowing (Goings). Supposedly they went from Arkansas to Texas returning to Arkansas with the child which they raised. They had a daughter named Lackie or Lockie and two sons, the names of whom I do not know, but have a picture of. Written on back of the picture is 'brothers of Lacke or Lockie Carnes. Callie Gowings, according to her marriage certificate, lived in Crosses, Madison County, in 1899 when she married Dwight (DeWitt) Hilton. I have been told that Lackie or Lockie got married (to whom I do not know) and had moved to Neosho, MO in early 1900's. Callie Gowing (Goings) was my grandmother. She died when my father was about 5 years of age and he was given the picture of the Karnes/Carnes brothers and one of his family. If anyone has any information on this family, I would appreciate your help.
