Hi Jean: Here goes on Jordan Spencer Carrow and Nancy Tillman Cratch:

b. bet. 1790-1800 in prob. Hyde Co, NC
d. 13 Mar 1847 in Caddo Parish, LA
m. NANCY TILLMAN CRATCH on 5 Aug. 1823 in Craven Co., NC
m. #2 ELIZABETH DAVIS on 28 July 1841 in Caddo Parish,LA

There are two children known to me and they Nancy's children.
b. 21 Feb 1825 in Craven Co., NC
d. 10 December 1893 in Shelby Co.,TX.
m. MARY FRANCIS ADAMS on 20 Jan 1859 in DeSoto Parish, LA.
(DeSoto Parish, LA and Shelby Co.,TX are just across the river from each other - in very close proximity - Just a mile or so of each other.)
b. 10 Dec 1829 in NC
d. 18 May 1873 in TX
m. JOHN MARION HARDY on 18 Dec 1850 in Caddo Parish, LA

I have no idea who Jordan Spencer Carrow's parents were, or then names of his siblings. I do have the children for William Caleb/Mary Francis and Mary Caroline/John Hardy if you would like.

(I did have more info on Jordan Spencer Carrow, but my computer crashed, taking all that info with it, so I am in the process of reconstituing the info I had found. It seems to me that Jordan was the owner of a tavern in Caddo Parish at one time, was in the War of 1812, and I think he was a tax collector for a short time in LA.)

Again, thank you for all the info you sent on George, it helped soooo much. Regards, Cherry
