My ancestor was Peter Carrow, some suggestion that this was Caron/Carron but nothing certain yet. My Peter Carrow was born about 1822 "Lower Canada" is all I can fid out to date, I haven't been able to find his parents or siblings.

Peter Carrow went to Vermont between 1840 and 1850, some of his children later went to Massachusetts. It seems that Peter may have some connection to another Carrow family in VT, that of Francois Carrow. I am not sure whether he is connected to Francois or maybe even Francois' wife, Felicite Laplant. Felicite Laplant's mother was Judith Giroux. I have also found several Tetreau/Tatro families of unknown connection...

Seemed interesting that you mention all the same families - have you managed to find out anything further?
