Hi Jeff,
There is a little confusion re: Mary Wilson which I'll try to clear up based on information compiled by Helen Ramsey Carrow which I found at the Norfolk Co. Historical Society. There were in fact two Mary Wilson's who were first cousins. One married Michael Carrow and had 4 children. Two of those children married Smith's. Those Smith's were children of John Smith and Mary Wilson. So the Mary Wilson I referred to in my original Carrow posting was not the Mary Wilson you are interested in. Your Mary Wilson married John Smith and had 8 children,Jacob,Jane,Katie,John (my line),Margaret,Mary Ann,James ,and William.William married Rachel Laing and had 5 children and then married Charlotte Barnes and had 8 more children, Rachel Ann, Mary Ann Caroline (referred to in my info. as Aunt Carrie), Owen, Sarah Jennie, Catherine M. (Aunt Kate), Albert, Frank, and Ethel. I have a bit more information about the Smith line but am also interested in tracing them back further. Family history indicates that the Smith's came to Ontario from Vermont but originally they were from England.
I hope this helps a bit. Let me know if you want more info. or have more to share.
