I not sure if this will help or not, but my ancestors are from sugar island, with some ending up on Mackinaw Island, Sault St. Marie, and Cheboygan. I myself was born in Cheboygan and still a member of the Sault St. Marie Chippewa Inian Tribe. My Great Grandfather was Edward Carrow (or possibly Corrow back then) My grandfather was Edward A. Carrow, and My Father was James E. Carrow, all now deceased. Please let me know if any of these names compare with your research. Herbert and Joseph were also my Grandfathers brothers.
