Benjamin CARSLEY b.1776 Maine who m. Eunice MOODY

I'm searching for info on the family of Benjamin CARSLEY who was b. 1776 in/of Gorham, Cumberland Co., Maine who married Eunice MOODY also of the same area.
They had a son Mark CARSLEY born in 1807 Harrison, Cumberland Co., Maine.
My interest in this is because I believe I might have some family connection here via the MOODY line.
My 5th grt. grandparents daughter Sarah MOODY married Simon NEWCOMB and they also lived in Harrison, Maine and some of their children named their own children using the CARSLEY name for reasons I cannot determine other than other Carsley's were living in the same place. Its been my genealogy research experience however that often times Family names were used.
This is the 2nd MOODY - CARSLEY I've found from the same areas in Maine with links to the Same Areas and Same Families that seem to to tie into my own Moody line, but I have No solid Proof of this and others argue that the line of Joshua MOODY who married as his 3rd wife I believe, Rebecca PHINNEY in/of Gorham and Baldwin, Cumberland Co., Maine, cannot be my lineage line because Supposedly this Joshua MOODY is a son of Joshua MOODY and Tabitha COX of Falmouth, Cumberland Co., Maine and who many state is solidly proven as a lineage line back to William MOODY of Newbury, MA and to whom I have No links to at all, at least that is what the Ydna is showing.
I have 8 other partial matching (at varying degrees of matching) to MOODY's and we do not share one scrid of ydna or are even of the same Haplotype (for those of you familiar with the ydna stuff), that the William of Newbury, MA line has. So, I am at a loss.

The only other early Moody's in Maine that I can see was that of a Joshua R. MOODY/Moodie who came from Ayrshire, Scotland to the Lake Umbagog (Oxford/Franklin Co.), Maine area in the 1690's.
He had sons who had children but very little is known of him. I believe that an Elias MOODY who was born in the 1770's who appears out of nowhere in Scarboro, Cumberland Co., Maine who married Lettice LIBBY and they ended up in Webster, Androscoggin Co., Maine, to be a descendant of this Joshua R. MOODY of Scotland.
It is also entirely possible that the Joshua MOODY (note Same Name) of Gorham/Baldiwn, Maine that married Rebecca PHINNEY could be mistakenly placed in the family tree of Joshua Moody and Tabitha Cox.
I don't believe anyone hailing from that line has a proven Ydna link to Joshua and Rebecca yet, but I could be wrong.

There are So Many commonalities between these CARSLEY's and MOODY's and the many other names that also show up in my own family tree, not to mention some of them lived in the same locations as my family did, and so I am here hoping someone might be able to offer some help regarding these CARSLEY's and MOODY's.
Thank You for anything at all.
