Thank you very much for your information. But I have to admit it is a little mind boggling!Basically that means there were two Moses Carsons': #1 son of Lindsey born ca 1794 NC and #2 son of James born 1783 VA BOTH living in Madison County KY at the same time?If this is true, which married Elizabeth Dunwiddie in 1813?I believe the evidence points towards Moses Helm Carson.Moses Bradley Carson was at Fort Kincade Missouri for the War of 1812 so it is unlikely he would have been in KY in 1813.In addition several members of the Carson family reportedly stated that Moses B. Carson never married.Looks like I should not have been so quick to assume that I had found a lost marriage for Moses Bradley Carson ha ha.By the way, there is a John Carson mentioned on the 1792 tax list for Madison County, KY.Do you know if he is related to your Carson family from VA?
