Jay, Thank you so much!! I would also be 8th generation. My brother recently did the DNA test for Simonton. Haven't had much luck with that, only proves all USA Simontons share a common ancestor. I appreciate your help,as I was a little confused as some trees I have seen don't have Elizabeth as a child for Thomas and Mary. I am sending you my e-mail if you would rather use it. You are lucky to be right in the middle of this research territory! I would love to be roaming around those old cemeteries. If you want the Carson-Bratton line I can send that.
