Does anyone know of an Audrey Carson who, in 1943, married a WWII Navy pilot named Milton John Bonar (my uncle) in Hawaii?
Milton was stationed in Hawaii when he met and married 19 yr old Audrey. Her mother was a school teacher, her father a chemist and I believe her brother may have been a Catholic priest. Audrey and Milton had twin girls who died shortly after birth.
They were married about a year and a half before Milton was shot down at Iwa Jima on July 4, 1944. She returned to family living in Philadelphia, PA. I don't know if she remarried, and would like to find out what happened to her.
