I have a Carson - Dever connection through my father's grandfather Patrick Canning or through his mother's family Connors/ Conners.Still have not figured out all the pieces. Dad had a cousin Father Carson who served innSt Stephen / Milltown NB ,and another cousin Genevieve Dever whose parents were Carson and Dever.
Genevieve Dever was born in Economy, NS where father managed a sawmill but they were from Saint John ,NB and spent the rest of their lives here in SJ.Genevieve taught at St Peter's School and played a leadership role in welcoming Hungarian refugees here.
