You were right Francis & Jane were brother and sister.
24/12/57 @ Manchester Cathedral after banns.
Francis married Jane Drinkwater, he was 21 and a bachelor and she was 20 and a spinster.
His occupation was a cotton twiner.
They both were down as living at 29 Scholes Street at the time of marriage, neither could write and signed with a X.
Francis's father was called Isaac and was a carter. Jane's was called James and was a brass moulder.
