Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

GUILFORD HOLIDAY CARTLEDGE THAT I AM IN REFERENCE TO WAS BORN NOV. 25 1849. HE WAS MY PAPA. MY DADDDY WAS HIS LAST
CHILD, WILLIAM HENRY CARTLEDGE BORN NOV. 9 1909. WE HAVE
BEEN TOLD THAT GUILFORD HOLIDAY'S MOTHER WAS A HOLIDAY. THE ONLY CUTHBRETH CARTLEDGE I'VE FOUND IS TO YOUNG TO BE MY
GREAT GRANDFATHER. PAPA CAME TO N.W.FL FROM GA. WE WERE TOLD HE HAD KILLED A MAN IN A LAND DISPUTE. WE ALSO REMEMBER STORIES OF A BOTHER THAT MOVED TO TEXAS AND BECAME A TEXAS RANGER ON THE BORDER WHERE HE WAS KILLED. IF YOU HAVE ANY INFORMATION THAT CAN CONFIRM ANY OF THIS PLEASE
LET ME KNOW. I CAN BE REACHED AT pippison@wfec.net
