Hi Tracey,

Just for background. You may find a few Cartledge marriages in Cheshire in the mid 1800's (Nantwich & Monks Coppenhall) districts. Just be aware that these Cartledges (if they are women) are probably from Manchester and married Cheshire men. Look out for Ellen (Cartledge or Waters) and Edith Sarah Cartledge. If you uncover these give me a shout and I could save you a lot of time.
