My ancestor is Mary Cartledge (or Cartridge) who we believe came from Durham County. I don't know a lot about her or her parents. We believe she was born in or around durham in about 1832. She married Ralph Harrison, a coal miner, (date/Place unk.,perhaps Durham) and emigrated to the USA to Pennsylvania in about 1861. They had at least nine children, but only Daugher Annie was born in England. She was born in about 1855/56 (place unk.) The Harrison family continued to work in the mines in the USA and travelled west from Tioga County PA, to La Salle Co. IL, Sims ND, Montana and ultimately to Roslyn, Kittitas Co. Washington. Ralph Harrison died in 1893. Mary Cartledge Harrison died in July 1903.
aughter Annie Harrison married Harry E. Graham in Pennsylvania, c. 1872. and died in Washington in 1932.

Any help connecting my family with the Cartleges in England would be greatly appreciated.
