I hope those of you related to the Carwiles and Callahams of Abbeville/Anderson, South Carolina can help me with an Jacob Carwile,
found in the 1830 Jefferson County, TN Census

Jacob Carwile - with 2 males under 5 and 1 male 20/30. Females are 1 under five and 1 female 20/30.

The following are his neighbors that also live in the same community in Jefferson County.

If those of you familiar with families from Abbeville/Anderson County, SC; you will probably recognize that this Jacob may be related to you.

His neighbors are Hampton Bates - Find Bates through out Abbeville, SC.

Jacob Evans and Ezekiel Evans - find Evans through out Abbeville, SC.

Michael Branner (probably suppose to Branyon) - find Branyons through out Abbeville, Anderson and Level Land, SC.

Jacob Black - find Blacks through out Abbeville, Anderson and Level Land, SC.

Hugh Martin - find Martins through out Abbeville and Anderson, SC.

It does seem to me that all of these people probably came from Abbeville/Anderson,
South Carolina.

Can any one tell me who Jacob Carwile was?

Also found from a Tax Payer List in neighboring Grainger County, TN - John Carwile from 1799 to 1805.

I would appreciate your help.

Thank you,
Anna Walker
