YES!!! My paternal grandparents were JOHN HILL and IDA CARGILE. She had a sister, I think, WILLIE CARGILE. Don't know her married name, only that she may have had a bunch of kids. I was about ready to give up on finding anything about my father and his family. You have renewed my hope.

My parents divorced in 1950, he remarried in 1952, and died 3 months later in Rossville, Ga. His death certificate said he was born in Ala.

Anything sound familiar? Let me know. I have a message under the HILL name if it might help. No much to go on though.
