I am posting the latest information that I have on my "Carwile" connection. My mother, Jimmie Ruth Carwile-Grimsley, Jimmie was born in Goodwell Oklahoma on 6/22/1937, she died in Coalinga California. Jimmie Ruth Carwile was the daughter of William Alfred Carwile. William was born in Georgia and died in Sherman Texas, he was married to Amilee Bell and she was born in New Mexico and died at the age of 27 years old in Hawthorn Nevada. After Amilee's death William later married Ruby Carwile (maiden name unkown). William Alfred was the son of James Rufus Carwile and Mary Lou Strange. James "Rufus" was the son of Milton M. Carwile and Malinda "Jane" Rash from Chattooga Georgia. Milton M. Carwile was the son of Samuel S. Carwile Jr. and Susannah Bowen, both were from South Carolina. Samuel S. Carwile Jr. was the son of Samuel S. Carwile Sr born/died in SC. Elizabeth Callaham was born in Virginia and died in Abbeville SC. Samuel Sr. was the son of Zachariah Carwile born in Virginia and died in SC and Mary McMahon born/died in Abbeville SC. Zachariah was the son of William Carwile (wife unknown). William was the son of Zachariah born in 1706 in Wales.
