I am looking for information on John Carwile who was born in SC in 1794 and died in Autauga county, AL in 1853.
According to the AL 1850 census records, John lived on Fanning Beat in Autauga county. He was married to Mary born in 1820 in SC and had the following children:
Dixon L. born 1837
Amanda born 1839
Phebe born 1841
Eliza J. born 1844
Nancy born 1846

In the AL 1860 census, there is a Zachariah Carwile born in 1811 in SC living two doors from Mary Carwile, the widow of John. I think he is most likely their kinsman.

Phebe Carwile married James B. McCord and it is this line I am also interested in.
