Hi Toni

LETTICE CARGILL b. 1770; daughter of THOMAS CARGILL, SR. b. 1759 and wife ELIZABETH FINDLEY. LETTICE CARGILL m. WILLIAM CORNELIUS son of WILLIAM C. CORNELIUS nad ANNE PHILLIPS. LETTICE and WILLIAM CORNELIUS had AMY CORNELIUS b. 12 July 1776; d. 1847, Russelville, Claiborne Parish, LA. Married Abt 1793 to CORNELIUS CARGILL b. 1760-1770 in Berkeley Co., Laurens Dist., SC. d: 1838 Russelville, Claiborne Parish, LA. His father was Capt. CORNELIUS CARGILL and mother was SARAH WILSON.
Now this is where I have to be carefull. THOMAS CARGILL was a brother to Capt. CORNELIUS CARGILL of Pendleton Dist., SC and both were sons of Capt. JOHN CARGILL b. 1713 in Prince Geo., Co., Va. and his wife RACHEL TINSLEY b. abt. 1717 dau. of JOHN TINSLEY and SUSANNAH CHILES. I better stop now while I still know where I am. For more information on Cornelius Cargill go to :

Let me know if I can be of any further help. I can referr you to someone who can probably be of more help.
The Cornelius' Family moved to Blount Co., AL.
Does this help? Let me hear.
Cassie
