I am researching all Casseldine/Caseldine/Castledine and other variations of the name. My particular family seems to come from John Casseldine SR. who was in Harford Co., MD during Rev. War and moved to Montgomery Co, KY before 1797. His children went to Ohio and Indiana and everyone spread out from there in mid 1800's. I have found only one other line so far Castledines who came from England in late 1800's. Don't know where John Casseldine came from originally I was told by family that he was Irish but that doesn't always mean anything it was six generations before any of my family was born. Have much to share if you have Caseldine's in your tree.
