I, too, descend from the Darnal/Darnall/Darnel/Darneil/Daniel CAMPBELL - Mary Ann CASHION family, through Martin Cashion CAMPBELL - Elizabeth Hudson, and then through their son Lewis Woodson CAMPBELL and his wife Sarah Frances BRANSCOMB and then their son, Edgar Roy CAMPBELL and his son Floyd Edgar CAMPBELL, my father.
I've researched the Darnal CAMPBELL line extensively and have volumes of information that I am now compiling into book form.
I have also worked on the CASHION line and have ALOT on them, and the other collateral lines.
All my work is sourced, documented and verified through deeds, Bible records, Pension files, etc.
I have re-verified all documents shared with me and have discarded quite a bit as un-verifiable.
Again, I have ALOT on the CAMPBELL, CASHION, BRANSCOMB, DAVIS, GATLIN, MANN, RUDD, GATES, GROVES, PROCTOR and BROWN families - again, all is verified.
Conjecture given me on the HUDSON family is still in the process of being verified, a cousin of mine worked on this line and had it terribly confused.
I have a degree in Journalism and have approached our family history much the same way I did any other research.
Feel free to contact me at
and I'll be glad to answer any questions or discuss any aspect of my research.
