Robert L. Cashion,
I have only become curious about genealogy about four weeks ago. Three or four cousins have been trying for years to tempt me into getting involved. It took the questions of a friend to give me the final push. You (Robert) might be quite correct. Except, I have a letter from Dr. Gerald E. Marsh indicating that he went to the grave yard near Alvarado Texas and stood at the grave of our mutual great-grandfather, Archibald Cashion. You (Robert) might be more correct than anybody else. I have already become quite perplexed by contradictory information. In my brief sojourn, I have discovered that my ancestors were fond of several given names. Archibald, Anderson, James, etc. I wish I had more time and money. I love solving contradictions. But I have already had a small taste of pleasure. I found my grandmother in the 1910 census!!! After this finding, I am severely hooked.
At this point, I still have an open mind and I am open to suggestions. Your suggestion, Robert, is Tennessee.

OBTW, you can find Alvarado on a map of Texas 30 miles or so South of Fort Worth.
