I spent a couple thousand hours of research time at the LDS geneological library in Salt Lake City and the extension libary at BYU in Provo, UT when I lived there. I no longer have any of my research but I can give you a general idea of this line to point you in the (hopefully) right direction.

I come from the Perryville, MO line of Cashion's. The Perryville Cashion's can be traced back to the Lincoln County, TN Cashions. Before that look around Mecklenburg County, NC. Further back still look at Chesterfield County, VA.
