cashion in northern ireland is very common. our records show several cashions arrived in jamestown va in 1743 as indentured servants(I have names & will post another day). family split & identified name ending by direction! why? who knows...cashion went to the south...cashin went west...cashon went north.
NC is a center. n.wilkesboro (cashion & fannie beard). & mecklenburg previous.
there are at least 45 in the civil war records all from the south (NC/ala/fla./ tenn/
