Havent a clue what happened, I either hit the wrong key or it is AOL. EDMUND F. CASHION, m. MARY SHELTON Jan 13, 1839. He was B in NC in 1812. In 1850, his family consisted of himself, age 38; wife Mary, age 32; William age 10; Sarah E., age 7; Nancy C., age 5; Lear (?) J. (girl), age 3. His dau, Lucy C. Cashion, born after 1850, married Alonzo G. W. Benson, Dec 11, 1884. This couple was known to Hugh L. Taylor, one of the writers. They had several children, among them being John, Will, Jess and Bessie, the latter two being twins. Bessie married first, GroverBennett; second, Roy Taylor. About 1915 Lucy C. (Cashion) Benson told Hugh L. Taylor that she was a first cousin of his father, James K. Taylor. If this is correct, Edmund F. Cashion must have been the son of Archibald Cashion and a brother of Nancy Cashion Taylor, wife of Henry C. Taylor.
