In Reply to: CASHEN/CASHIN/CASHION - CO. CORK, IR>IL by Linda Cashen Gaunt of 353

I just found out that my gggrandfather was PETER CASHEN of County Cork, Ireland (father to greatgrandfather, Peter). He married MARGARET HARRINGTON (also of Co. Cork). They had the following children:
JOHN CASHEN, MARY CASHEN, PETER CASHEN,
ELIZABETH CASHEN, MARGARET CASHEN &
TIMOTHY CASHEN
PETER CASHEN, Sr., died in Ireland. His wife brought the children to America. I have no years or locations, except their final location of Sangamon Co., Illinois.

I found a MARY CASHEN married to a MICHAEL DOYLE in Sangamon Co., Illinois on 12/19/1865.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Linda Cashen Gaunt
