Thanks for the query. Strange coincidence. The name John Casner is very prevelant in my extensive Casner family. My Casner and Fields families connect in several different places from 1822 to the 1880s.
I have my Fields line back to about 1776 in West VA or VA. My Fields family arrives in MO in 1821; circa 1847 they begin migrating from MO to OR.
My Henry Casner did not make it to the PA area.
Henry Casner was born circa 1802 in Cumberland Co., KY.He is one of six children of Jonas and Nancy (Wright) Casner who were married in 1801 in Washington Co., VA.Jonas and Nancy (and their six children) arrived in MO in 1818.Henry married in 1822 in Ray Co., MO and died in 1847 in Marion Co., IA.
I have identified the father and grandfather of Jonas Casner (both are named John and the name was spelled Kestner).I am back to the mid to late 1700s in VA on this family.
Good luck in your search!
