Researching Casner/Carsner (and Other Variant Spellings)

I would encourage everyone to post their queries. One never knows when someone else will be looking. Also would encourage everyone to periodically review the Cosner, Kastner, Kestner, Kirschner (and other variant spellings of the name)message boards. My particular line is of German descent. Back in the late 1790s the name is spelled many ways on different documents.

In trying to keep all the Casners in some sort of order, I have all that I have come across in doing my research, in a data base and will be glad to share information. I must admit though, I am not verifying all the information I have (except for my particular line). When I make a connection to my line, then I verify and obtain documents to support what I have found.

I would like to see many, many other researchers/descendants post their information/questions - who know, perhaps we can help one another.
