Do You Know This Benjamin Casner
Posted by: Liz Freeman (ID *****1831) Date: July 24, 2002 at 13:17:06

Benjamin CASNER (bd circa 1824) is one of twelve sons of Henry Casner and Jincy Fields Casner who floated between MO and IA from 1822 to 1847. Benjamin is in Jasper County, IA in 1844. I have found references to Benjamin Casner in other records in IA. Henry Casner dies in 1847 in IA. Jincy and her family migrate to OR in 1852.

Here is my problem. I have found no record of Benjamin CASNER in OR (or other areas of the Pacific Northwest where the Casners settled).

I did find record of a Benjamin Casner who married Lucy WARE on 12-26-1845 in Harrison County, MO.

I am endeavoring to determine if the Benjamin Casner who married in Harrison County, MO is the same that is in Jasper Co., IA. Any thoughts, suggestions, information appreciated.
