I'm assuming you saw my posts of 5-9-02 and 10-22-2002 concerning Orville Carsner. Could you contact me direct. I am still endeavoring to tie Orville Carsner into a specific family. And yes, the death certificate for Orville does spell the name Carsner.

Often the name Casner/Carsner is spelled interchangeably (sp). I have descendants of one line (CASNER); there was a dispute between the family in the 1870s; half of them retained the original spelling (CASNER) and the other half changed the spellilng to CARSNER. Then there are the census takers, record keepers who often miss-spell the name. Oh what fun we have in trying to sort through all those historic records.

Would like to hear from you. I have some 40+ FTM data bases records on various CASNER/CARSNER FAMILIES. I may already have information on your particular line and not know it.
