Can Someone Clarify this Casner Marriage Question
Posted by: Liz Freeman (ID *****1831) Date: October 01, 2003 at 00:01:35

I have learned that Ada Faye Critchlow (bd 5-10-1912 dd3-1-2002 San Diego, CA)was the spouse of Loran Richard Critchlow (bd2-18-1906 dd3-18-1993 San Diego, CA).

There is some indication that Loran Richard Critchlow was the second husband of Ada Faye. The first spouse of Ada Faye appears to have been George R. Casner (also known as Riley Casner, Jr.). Riley Casner died 12-26-39 in San Diego, CA. Census records for Riley and Ada show her birthdate to be circa 1892. Riley and Ada Casner were in AZ (where his parents lived) prior to their moving to CA.

A marriage record was located for an Ada Faye Casner to Loran Richard Critchlow on 1-12-1965 in San Diego, CA.

However, there is another family by the name of Casner that migrated from TX to CA. I am trying to sort out if the Ada Faye Casner that married Loran Richard Critchlow is my Ada Faye Casner (previously married to Riley Casner) or if she is a daughter of the Casner family that came out of TX to CA.

Would like to hear from anyone who can clarify this for me.
