Thanks for the information, I have found marriage information on Myrtle (Mertie) and Robert Carrick, they were married in Mt. Pleasant, Isabella, Michigan (or at least that is where they took their marriage license out in 1900)

What information do you have on Leonard Levi Casner, because the information I have, which may be inaccurate since I have not been able to validate it through sources; is that James Hyman's father is James Hyman Casner. Now that I know who Matthew is, it makes sense that he was merely using his middle name, and that it is the same Stephen that is older then the rest of his brothers.

Whatever information you have on Leonard Levi Casner, and any sources which would help me to validate that he is the father of James Hyman would be useful, and even a secondary source would be useful such as if it came from Bert Carrick, whom I am assuming is a descendent of Mertie and Robert Carrick (or is Robert) since he would be able to relate it to his own knowledge through personal interaction with his family.
