Another Casner Family - 1900 CO Census
Posted by: Liz Freeman (ID *****1831) Date: October 23, 2003 at 14:55:08

On the 1900 CO Census, Park County, Deer Valley Precinct is listed the following CASNER family:

CASNER,Albert C. - born 1861 in IN; his parents were born in PA. His occupation is listed as farmer.

CASNER, Hattie - born 6-1862. Her father was born in IN, hermother in NY.

CASNER, Nonia - born 10-1884 in MO.

CASNER, Minnie - born 12-1885 in MO.

CASNER, Edna May - born 2-1887 in MO.

CASNER, Clayton - born 12-1888 in MO.

CASNER, Charles - born 7-1889 in MO.

CASNER, Arthur - born 5-1892 in MO.

CASNER, Earl - born 10-1894 in CO.

Also listed on the same census in near the same place is the family:

WILCOX, Myron - born 5-1839 in NY; his parents were born in NY.
WILCOX, Annie - born 8-4840 in NY; her parents were born in NY.
Listed with the Wilcox family is a grandson:
CASNER, Earnest - born 11-1896 in CO.

I'm taking it that Myron and Annie Wilcox are the parents of Hattie Casner and that Earnest Casner is actually the child of Albert and Hattie.

Can anyone confirm this for me?
Also, who were the parents of Albert C. Casner?
Did Albert have any brothers/sisters?
What became of Albert and Hattie Casner?
What became of the children of Albert and Hattie Casner?

Would appreciate anyone having information on this Casner family posting a response please.
