My father's name was Vern Carsner b. 11/25/1914 d. 2/25/2003
Born in Toledo, Ohio. His father was Montgomery Carsner and moved to Toledo from Millbury Ohio. I found Daniel Carsner listed among the first land owners in Wood County, Ohio, near what became Millbury, OH. Daniel bought the land on April 16, 1834.

Montgomery Carsner b 9-8-1850 d 8/6/1924
married Hannah Shiffert born 1854 died 1948.

they had 8 children.

Also a name found spelled Kachner, Edward. I don't have any more info on him yet, but he could be one of the same line.
