I have been doing research on my Casner line for several years. In my efforts to keep from going back over the same tracks, however, I trace any Casner line I come across. Right now I have some 70 data bases of Casner lines.
In an effort to combine some of these, I recently came across a reference that Enoch Wilson Casner (b.4-9-1832 PA d.1-13-1922 IA) might be a half brother to Cornelius Casner (b.11-19-1806 PA d.6-7-1868) and that there may have been other half siblings.
The father of Cornelis Casner was Samuel Casner (b.7-27-1780 PA d.12-1-1866)who was married to Mary Wagner.
Could someone clarify this for me. If Enoch and Cornelius were half brothers, do you have the names of the other half-siblings? Do you have the name of the other wife of Samule Casner? I would like to combine these data bases if in fact they are half-brothers. I am maintaining information on Cornelius Casner line in db#12 and information on Enoch Wilson Casner in db#43.
