I'm fifth generation descendant of Michael Casner. Brief info you might want:

Michael Casner (Kasner) b 1800 Ohio d 1851 Mt. Blanchard, Delaware Twp, Hancock County, Ohio, buried Earlywine Cemetery, about five miles southwest of Mt. Blanchard.

Son of John Kassner (Kasner, Casner, Casnor) b 1773 probably Pennsylvania d 1857 Whitley County, Indiana, buried Oak Grove Methodist(Redbush) Cemetery, Richland Township, Whitley County, Indiana, along with wife Susanna.

Married Elizabeth Wolford, 1828, Coshocton County, Ohio.

Known children:

Samuel, b 1829, last known Kosciosko County, Indiana,
census 1860 with wife Elizabeth, mother Elizabeth
and brother William.
Frederick, b 1832, may have moved to Story County, Iowa.
John, b 1835, reportedly died in youth, recorded as age
16 with parents in 1850 Hancock County, Ohio census.
William, b 1839 d 1869 Inwood, Marshall County, Indiana.
William is my great great grandfather.

Known siblings:

Andrew, b 1806
John, b 1809 d 1859, buried Adams Mills, Ohio.
Daniel, b 1818, possibly d 1871 and buried Rousseau-Pence
Cemetery, Smith Township, Whitley County, Indiana.

Hope this info helps.
