Liz, You seem to be the expert on the Casner family(s)and you asked about a William Casner. In my family records there were and perhaps still are Casners in Guernsey Co., Ohio. There was a William born before 1860 (when his mother died); son of William and Ann Rich Casner s/o Vandal Banjamiin (sic)and Elizabeth Hill Casner born 1771 and 1776 respectively. Please let me know if I can fill in more details. I believe they had farms in Richland Twp, in Guersey, Co-also know as Gibson Station and Leatherwood Creek. John Weaver (
