Who are These Two J. L. Casner people

Does anyone know who the following two people are who appearl on the Texas Death Index?

1) J. L. Casner, died in Travis County on 28 May 1922, death certificate number 15759

(2) Jack Laurence Casner, died in Stephens County on 15 December 1920, death ertificate number 29090.

I am endeavoring to determine if either of them might be one of father/son duo by the name of J. L. Casner (John L. and John Lewis) who simply disappear after 6-24-1902. My duo was in Haskell County on 6-24-1902 signing papers to sell the last of their rangeland and simply disappear after that date.

I would like to know if the J. L. Casner listed above might be one of my people.
