Hi,
Wanted to leave you some info on my husbands family. His mother was a Casner from IL. Her name was Myrtle Magdeline Casner. Her fathers name was Ramsey Casner. Her mother was Lillie B (Brassel) Casner. We have also located an old cemetery out in the woods that has George Casner b 4/4/1800, d 3/18/1880. It is known as the Casner cemetery. Also buried there is Mary Casner his first wife, Cathrine Lewis Casner his second wife, infant son George, and three daughters Hester, Emily, and Lucy. We know that they are my husbands people but don't know exactly how. According to the census records we could find, he had a large amount of land in Washington Co. IL. We also have newspaper articles that says he donated land for the railroad to go through and also to build a school. Casner township is named after him as he was the first to settle in the area. Would be glad to furnish more info if you are interested.

Thanks
Lavona Denton
