I am the ggreat grandaughter of Emily Casner Flanagan. The tombstone is incorrect for her. Through the census reports available on Jefferson County Website specifically 1850, Emily Casner Flanagan wife of A.D.(The A stands for Ambrose) Flanagan was only 23 (b. 1827)in 1850 which would make her age 34 years in 1861 when she died. I do believe I e-mailed this to you directly and I identified your Ramsay as her brother and that they were both born in Tenn. I am still looking for their mother who was George's first wife in TN. If you could possibly send me copies or scan your german information, I have fluent German family speakers and readers and would be happy to have them interpreted. Please read below for the information I have provided. I have spent many years and searches to prove Emily's information and this is only surface information and brief.
